Mobile Deposit

With many of us receiving paper checks from the State of Maine this summer, depositing that check has never been easier! You no longer need to make that deposit at a branch. If you can take a picture, you can deposit a check with Maine Savings’ mobile check deposit. It’s easy and encrypted for security.

• Log into Maine Savings Digital Banking on your smartphone
• Select the 'Check Deposit' icon at the bottom of your screen
• Accept the disclosure
• Select an account in which to deposit the funds
• Sign the back of your check and write 'For Maine Savings mobile deposit only'
• Place your check on a flat surface and capture images of the front and back of your check. Be sure you capture all four corners of the check in your photos. There is an auto capture or manual capture option for your convenience.
• Review the information and accept

It's easy, secure and free. You'll be amazed how much time you can save by using MaineSavings mobile check deposit, and you may never want to deposit a paper check any other way! We suggest you keep your check for 45 days to make sure it clears-- then shred it.
